What AIC chip do you have on your soundblaster?  I've recently
attempted to get an AIC-6260 alive, but had to learn that the driver
currently apparently only handles the AIC-6360 chip correctly.  (The
Adaptec marketing synonyms are AHA-1510 vs. AHA-1520, btw.)
