If it's McKusick et al, then who, if anybody, is : more deserving of ownership of the BSD name? I don't know about McKusick, but Mike Karels and Chris Torek work for BSDI. Mike Karels is a co-author of the 4.3 BSD Unix OS book, and Chris Torek was the last big BSD developer at UCB.
