| I'm sure that the answer to this has been posted, but is there any way at all
| to get Linux 1.2.x to recognize my AHA2940 controller (ASUS Mainboard with 1
| gig drive). I've tryed various boot images and no luck. All I get is '0 SCSI
| hosts' at bootup.

For Linux 1.2.x, I believe you have to integrate the patches for the 2940
controller yourself. I was just configuring 1.3.21, and noticed that 2940
support is now part of the standard release.
