Charles Hannum <mycroft@gnu.ai.mit.edu> is the i386 portmaster. If I were you I would not expect quick action on this. Do what you need to do to your own system in order to get the behavior you need, and send-pr your patch (with a description of results) afterwards. >(Frankly, I don't know how to access the gnats database myself. Someone >mailed the patch to me). The NetBSD gnats database has an email interface. Send a message to <query-pr@netbsd.org> with the command-line arguments for query-pr in the Subject: header. I recommend that your first message use the -q flag; this will give you a summary listing of all PRs that have not been closed. Pick out the PRs that interest you from the list, then send another message with the --full flag and a list of the PR #s. Please don't ask for a full list of all open PRs; the NetBSD mailserver is overburdened as it is. If you want to do more with the query-pr interface, then you should download the GNATS package from you favorite GNU mirror and extract the query-pr manpage.
