I recently purchased the Walnut Creek CD-ROM, and can't get it to install
with my ProAudio Spectrum card. Does the audio driver have to be
recognized in order for the SCSI card portion to be identified. If this
is the case how do u get the pas dev driver into the kernel... doesn't
this require recompiling the kernel as the the pas driver isn't in the
generic kernel. And how do I accomplish this feat without first having
installed the kernel and sources... which is what I am trying to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My dos configuration for the ProAudio Spectrum card is:

Audio: port 220 irq 5
SCSI: port ??? irq 10

I can't for the life of me find the port address for the SCSI card...
I have booted the kernel with the -c switch and port'ed and probe'd just
about every port for the SCSI adapter from 290 to 390. This is why I
think that the audio portion must also be recognized.

Thanks again for his time.
