Does the audio driver have to be recognized in order for the SCSI card portion to be identified. If this is the case how do u get the pas dev driver into the kernel... doesn't this require recompiling the kernel as the the pas driver isn't in the generic kernel. And how do I accomplish this feat without first having installed the kernel and sources... which is what I am trying to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My dos configuration for the ProAudio Spectrum card is: Audio: port 220 irq 5 SCSI: port ??? irq 10 I can't for the life of me find the port address for the SCSI card... I have booted the kernel with the -c switch and port'ed and probe'd just about every port for the SCSI adapter from 290 to 390. This is why I think that the audio portion must also be recognized. Thanks again for his time. - Keith
