I haven't looked at the FreeBSD mailing lists, but I also think that
comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc should be split into different newsgroups. It's
quite busy and it's rather difficult to keep track of it.

This would be a good possibility IMHO to split questions and discussions about
the OS itself like the "Why isn't NetBSD popular?" thread.
