I think Bill's amusement (and mine) derives from the fact that
Microsoft has been touting NT as the server OS to end all.  Nobody
doubts that Microsoft runs all kinds of computers and OS's internally,
but this is exactly the kind of application for which NT is supposed
to be so great.
