Jin,

I'll assume that you're using FreeBSD-2.0-Release or later. 
I'll also assume that 2.0.5 has a similar install procedure
to that of 2.0. (I'm holding off for 2.1)

There are two options at the fdisk screen that need to be used, 
one to Write the data and a second to write the Bootblock, "W" and
"B". Both operations appear to be required. 

There is another possible problem, that has it's roots in the
rom bios' that we have to live with that think (pardon the
expression) 'dos.' One of the partitions must be "marked" as 
"Active." I *think* that there is an option to do that with
the FreeBSD fdisk.
