I am curious about this also. I have been "using" Linux for a few months
now, but it is unstable. It keeps on having "kernel panics" -- sometimes
once every week or so, and sometimes several times a day. Is FreeBSD
more stable? I found the 2.05 release CD-ROM in Akihabara today, so I
bought it to try it out. I am curious to hear if people find it more
stable than Linux.

Also, if anybody has any hints on turning my system into a FreeBSD
system from Linux I would appreciate it. I don't care if I have to
delete the Linux stuff, except I would like to keep the X-Window
configuration files, since they took forever to figure out. (^_^)

Thanks,
