    FreeBSD will swap pages out to disk even if there is free physical
RAM (as I understand it).  Do a "dmesg | grep 'real memory'" and see
how much memory the kernel thinks you have:

% dmesg | grep 'real memory'
real memory  = 16384000 (4000 pages)
