Oh ! What a typo. It was SCSI-Id 0 all over the place where I did put 1. I am very sorry for this misunderstanding. I am now trying the new scsi-beta drivers. I did build a new kernel today and will test it this evening (just booting from the floppy and "install"). >Lastly, its a fact that there are problems related to SCSI drives with >BIOS'es which fake the disk geometry. The AHA1542b does, so I could not >boot DOS and install a working BSD on the same drive. That should not be a problem because I have this setup at work (with an ISA system, though). >>Please help, Thanks for your info, anyway, Norbert. This time I would like to thank Julian Elischer for his continuing effort to provide us with the new scsi-drivers. And his assistance he gave me for setting this up. -- Norbert Bladt, Ascom Autelca AG, Worbstr. 201, CH-3073 Guemligen, Switzerland Phone: +41 31 999 65 52 FAX: +41 31 999 65 44 Mail: nbladt@autelca.ascom.ch UUCP: ..!uunet!mcsun!chsun!hslrswi!aut!nbladt
