Oh ! What a typo. It was SCSI-Id 0 all over the place where I did put 1.
I am very sorry for this misunderstanding.
I am now trying the new scsi-beta drivers. I did build a new kernel
today and will test it this evening (just booting from the floppy and
"install").

That should not be a problem because I have this setup at work (with

Thanks for your info, anyway,

This time I would like to thank Julian Elischer for his continuing effort
to provide us with the new scsi-drivers. And his assistance he gave
me for setting this up.
