Well, a "generic emulator" is something that's pretty hard to define.
If it runs every single possible binary then I'd say it's a very *complete*
emulation, thoughthat's naturally always going to be something of a moving
target.  The FreeBSD emulation of Linux isn't currently complete in that
sense, but it's capable of running a number of Linux binaries.  We also
have more advanced emulation currently in BETA testing.  The only way to
know for sure is to try your particular database and see!
