Yes ! It have the -persists option !!! At the moment I use iijppp with the -auto option for a modem callback. But if if I lost connection while a ftp transfer over the modem line iijppp does not restart the modem connection. iijppp just terminate . If I have only a ping or telnet session over the modem line iijppp restarts the connection. I hope pppd (with the -persists option) will fix this.
