I just installed FreeBSD 2.0.5 onto my hard disk. Problem is, it won't boot. If I hit enter at the Boot: prompt, all that happens is | sits in the corner of the screen -- doesn't spin or anything. I've tried booting with a bootdisk and pointing it to wd(0,a)/kernel, but that didn't work either. Could it be because this is on a 1.2G EIDE drive (with an EIDE controller, of course), and the FreeBSD partition starts above 1024 cyl? Any help appreciated! Thanks.
