Well, at least the eighth-bit characters went away, along with the
interminable one-man thread about /etc/services and inetd.  I'm
willing to live with the inscrutable joke.  But if somebody has an
explanation, I'd love to hear it.  Isn't a "sphygmanometer" (or
something spelled almost completely differently) the name of the
device they use to measure blood pressure?  Or is that altitude?  And
is 2 o'clock high or low?
