When I start X Windows my mouse pointer jumps to the top line of the screen at the slightest touch of the mouse and then it jumps around on the top line from left to right, even when I am moving the mouse up and down. I have a STB Horizon+ PCI 1.2 video card with 1MB RAM using Cirrus chipset CL-GD543x PCI VGA BIOS Version 1.10B. I took the most conservative settings when creating my XF86Config file, but for some reason when X Windows comes up it is simulating a virtual screen size greater than 800x600. When the mouse pointer moves to far to the left my xterm window begins to drift off the left side of the visible screen. I am running out of ideas to check and I hope that someone can understand the symptoms that I am seeing and offer some much needed help. Thanks Brad
