I am sure there are a few free word WYS... editors out there.  One of
them, I think is called "doc" or "docs" and comes with the interviews
package.  I don't know where to get the package, but I think at least
some of it is free.  Also, there is a front end to LaTeX that I have heard
a bit about.  There is no binary of it for BSD that I know of, but if you
have motif you should be ok.  This editor used to be called "lyrix" or
some such, but the name has been changed due to the fact that the name
lyrix is copyright.  For info, check out:
