I am sure there are a few free word WYS... editors out there. One of them, I think is called "doc" or "docs" and comes with the interviews package. I don't know where to get the package, but I think at least some of it is free. Also, there is a front end to LaTeX that I have heard a bit about. There is no binary of it for BSD that I know of, but if you have motif you should be ok. This editor used to be called "lyrix" or some such, but the name has been changed due to the fact that the name lyrix is copyright.
