I have the same behaviour (2.1.0-950726-SNAP) with ALL network connections
and a D-Link DE-100
NE1000-compatible card. The connections hang from time to time, even
when the RFC-extensions are disabled. Changing back in my BSDI 1.1 hard
disks and booting BSDI up, connections work fine.
