Why are FreeBSD people always such a**h***s?
Probably because what Mr. Michael Talbot-Wilson was, in fact, complete
and utter bullshit. Have you read, in full, any of his recent posts
on this subject? I think most reasonable clear-headed Linux fans
would be embarrassed to have him speak for them.
Mr. Berger was just responding to the complete farce that
Mr. Talbot-Wilson was trying to parade around as the facts. It had
nothing, I'm sure, to do with Linux people themselves.
Honest back-and-forth fact-filled discussions can be enlightening. I
don't think anyone would mind carrying on such a thread. On the other
hand, one-sided misinformed (and mostly just plain wrong) assertions
by people such as Mr. Wilson-Talbot are all too likely to provoke
nothing but flamage. This is what Mr. Berger was responding to.
