Is there a way to increase the backlog variable and SOMAXCONN
variable to allow freebsd to queue more pending IP connections?

The default backlog seems to be only 5, which isn't cutting it
when we're getting 5-10 connections/second. The only mention
of them in the source (as far as I can tell) is in:

/kern/uipc_socket.c

but I don't see any obvious method of tweaking the value
without breaking things.

Any suggestions would be warmly welcomed. :-)

Regards,

Chris
