Well, with all due respect, as a former Digital employee who had a DECstation for 3 1/2 years (and used them at school for 3 years before that, I found easing into Linux trivial and the vast majority of what I was used to was present on Linux. Now, granted, experience with the former OSF/1 (now Digital Unix) on Alpha AXP machines helped a little (these being a bit more System-V like).
