I did not upgrade but started with 2.0.5 from the CD.
I do notice that I cannot get between the virtual terminals (the screens you switch between
when pushing ALT-SysReq ALT-F[1-3] once you've started X with xinit.

I had problems in that upon installation the PS2 mouse was not in the kernel.

But once the mouse driver was installed and /dev/psm0 was linked to /dev/mouse all went well.

I can fire up twm in the background from the xterm which starts ( I take it this is your
problem that an xterm never appears on your display ).
Try typing in xterm instead of ls(which you say causes disk activity).

It may just be a problem with the upgrade procedure.

I installed netscape for BSD 386 but I get all kinds of keymapping complaints from
netscape and important keys like backspace don't work at all.
I hope to have that problem solved soon. Any pointers would be appreciated.
