Can a : Linux box hold a whole internet routing table? If not will freebsd or : bsdi do the trick? I used to have a Linux as a router box between my ISP and my office network thru a PPP link. It works fine except the box has an habit of swapping when the backbone traffic is high (dont ask me why..i dont know..). It will crash for no particular reason once every 2 weeks and i have to hard reboot it. Now i switched to FreeBSD v2.0.5. So far, it gives me no problem and i find myself with less white hairs. FreeBSD is god given for those who cannot afford a BSDi (yes i used to run 3 BSDi..now i oni have one 8) -James Seng
