But, to each his/her own. Why ???? I am running a pair of P90's both with 2940's and 2GB Seagate Drives and Quad Speed CDROM's (and FreeBSD 2.0.5). Both machines are super quick AND super stable (never crashed !!!!) What is your problem with Adaptec ????? (dont knock it till you've tried it !) Cheers Phil
