Install a boot sector on a floppy (disklabel) Make a file system. Install the utilities you want, gzipped (the generic kernel executes gzipped executables). Install the kernel. I've been working on this, based on an almost-working script someone sent me, and I'll be sending in a script that does this for 1.44 or 1.2 meg floppies soon. Recovery floppies are important, and on FreeBSD they're not that tough. They're also VERY rarely necessary (you need to destroy /stand, /bin/sh, /bin/csh, and any other shells you've installed... you have to work at it). -- Peter da Silva (NIC: PJD2) `-_-' 1601 Industrial Boulevard Bailey Network Management 'U` Sugar Land, TX 77487-5013 +1 713 274 5180 "Har du kramat din varg idag?"
