Adaptec is *extremely* disinterested in providing support. This is obvious from things like the developer program for the 2- and 3- series cards, as well as other things. For example, while Unix systems represent a small per- centage of cards sold, DOS and Windows represent the majority. Go look at a copy of PC Magazine, Vol 14 no 15, September 12, 1995 on page 474. That's the big Windows 95 issue, specifically the "SCSI Cards" section of a *large* device compatibility table. Note that Adaptec isn't listed. Contact PC Mag- azine and ask why. Find out "They didn't get back to us". If Adaptec is wil- ling to ignore stuff like that, what do you think they care about the Unix market.
