Therefore, I'm ideally looking for a method that will allocate on a 'first come, first served basis'. So far, I've managed to get a system that responds to bootptest ok, when the client already knows its ip address, but I can't get the same to work for a hardware based request e.g. > hirta# bootptest -h babylon5 > bootptest: version 2.4.1 > No interface for babylon5 Anyone know what's wrong here? More importantly, what's the cure? Is my goal of fully dynamic allocation attainable? (If not, I'll be happy to get it working for just hardware based look-up) -- _________ | Angus M.
