DNS requires either a complete DNS lookup or you must make a complete address in your domain.db, ie. jericho.com. IN A 204.68.192.3 (don't forget the . after the com, otherwise it comes out jericho.com.tethys.net) BTW, say hi to Bob and Dave for me.
