Anyone run into this problem?

With a generic VGA on a 386-25 that worked fine with
FreeBSD 1.1.5.1 and Xfree86, since upgrading to 2.0.5R,
I lose all the virtual terminals when X starts. I get a blank
screen. I do get response to the keyboard. I can type "ls"
in the blind and make the disk crunch away.

I'm running the generic config file and using the 640x480
mode, etc, as I was before. About the only change I had to
make was the mouse hardware port to cuaa1 and turning on the
3-button support.

I'm using the Mono server.

Since the problem seemed to be linked to 2.0.5, I thought I'd ask
here first before bugging the XF86 newsgroup. Besides,it's the
virtual terminal windows that go away. X works OK!

Same config setup on my 486 with Diamond Speedstar works
fine, but , darn it, the old 386 ran X OK with 1.1.5.1,
and I didn't lose the virtual windows. Any ideas?

THanks--
