I have noticed it under linux for quite a while. I would guess the BSD malloc may just be making this show up faster. Its not a good idea to compait memory usage or preformance based on things like netscape which are broken. Unless of course all you care about is the "normal" user who only needs to use netscape and a few xterms, and never runs out of swap anyway. Matt
