Hi,

I am having problem in getting a tape backup working.
I have a tape drive on my 486 machine and it is connected
to the IDE bus. I am running BSD 2.0.

I would like to use the tape drive for backup but the system
keep giving me the following message :

> mt: /dev/nrst0: Device not configured

The tape drive I have is a 4 mm tape drive.
Can anyone suggest a solution or tell me what is the
problem ? Do I need to re-make the kernel so that the
OS recognise that there is a tape drive.

Please help.

Thank you.
