I didn't have any luck with Buslogic ISA or VLB dual-channel controllers, but things seem fine with the integrated controllers on a Pentium motherboard. I didn't have any luck installing a 2nd controller card at 0x170, either. I have tried to isolate the restriction of two devices and/or two channels in the code, but nothing conclusive to report so far. ]I don't want the CDROM on my primary controller since it will slow down ]my H/D performance. SCSI cures all. I didn't know they had ATAPI support by now...
