Heat is a serious >problem with all the 7200 rpm drives. Interesting. We have a few hundred GB Micropolis and Seagate drives for at least a year. None of Micropolis disk had problem. A few Seagate disks are dead right way. I, too, would buy Micropolis before I'd buy Seagate.
