   Ahem!  Well, I just have to take offense to the word 'adequately' when
   describing a BusLogic controller... :-)  The work _GREAT_, and at $199
   for the BT946C, are pretty decently priced.  (when compared to a $115
   NCR w/BIOS, it is still reasonable I think)
   Ok, "outstandingly, amazingly, perfectly, etc.." I can live with.. :)

OK, OK... :-)  My BT747 is a kick-ass EISA SCSI controller...  Happy?

I just meant to imply that the BusLogic controller was at least good
enough that it shouldn't be counted out.
