Why not the "generic ncr" controller? If you would follow this group more carefully (and not only just when you've got a question), you had seen comparisions between the NCR 52c810 and the Adaptec AHA-29XX (which does also answer your question in that the latter is supported). If i were you, i'd use the NCR.
