I have some bad stories about : the new Micropolis disks. In 6 months, at least 5 Micropolis died at some : friends' sites. Be sure that it will be cooled enough. Heat is a serious : problem with all the 7200 rpm drives. It's not just the 7200 rpm drives that have the problem. The 5400 rpm ones have the same problem. We've replaced a small 1.2 gig drive that died from the heat and have a 2.8 acting up with heat problems. We eneded up mounting a third fan in the box so that it blows directly on/over the 2.8 gig drive to try and keep it going. I wouldn't recommend a Micropolis to anyone for any reason at this point in time. They are too prone to heat failure. Skip
