I've got a Sun3 running basically diskless of off my linux box. I'd like to give it its own disk. I've got a CDC 9417 300meg disk plugged in as sd0. i've gotten it to make sd0h, which is not quite right cuz it takes up the whole drive. How do i go about making say 3 partitions, a,b,g or something like that with / on a, swap on b, and /usr on g. i tried diskpart, which is not a lot of help as there is no disktab in netbsd/sun3. i can put in all the drive info, and it gives me partition info, but i can't seem to newfs any of them... keeps telling me device not configured. i've tried disklabel, same error. anybody got any suggestions?? also, i've got an Emulex esdi-scsi card. Will this support any esdi drive?? thanx --chris -- Chris Callanan - CpE major ccallana@gauss.elee.calpoly.edu http://www.elee.calpoly.edu/~ccallana This message brought to you by the letters C and W and the number 105.
