After compiling 3 kernels I added sblaster support from LINT file (to see if it would work with the MonteCarlo Turtle Beach card), and compiled a 4th kernel. It aborted with following message: Kernel "make" output loading kernel ioconf.o: Undefinied symbol '_sbdriver' referenced by data segment '_sbintr' *** Error code 1 Stop. 2816.39 real (this is time output, BTW: over 50 minutes to compile a kernel, 486 33Mhz 16 Mb AHA 1542B, is this normal ?) I made a couple more tries including all sound support from LINT but with no results. Why is it refusing to compile ? What can I do about it ? What else should I try to make it work with the Turtle Beach ?
