Hi:

I recently acquired a Panasonic 562-J cuz it was dirt cheap. I checked
to make sure that Panasonic 56x's are supported on FreeBSD, and I
compiled kernel with the following line:

controller matcd0 at isa? port ? bio

However, when I boot, it says:

matcd0: not found at 0xffffffff

I am not sure what the default IRQ and DMA should be, but the CDRom works
fine under DOS. Do I need to set the IRQ and DMA to a certain value so
that the CDRom will be detacted? It seems that the CDRom works fine with
several different IRQ/DMA combo under DOS. If anyone knows how to install
Panasonic 56x's properly, please help. Thank you very much!

Best Regards.
