I was getting the timeout problem too because the board was jumpered with IRQ 10 or something and FreeBSD by default was looking for IRQ 5. The board was recognized by FreeBSD eventhough the IRQ was wrong. I set the jumper to IRQ 5 and it's working now. So double check the IRQ. johnl -- "Meet every situation head on" -- M.E.S.H. johnl@microware.com uunet!mcrware!johnl
