Even giving correct geometry, 2707/19/81, it complains. Is it specific problem (bug?) with BT-946C? The BusLogic 946C BIOS will report one of three possible geometries depending on the size of the disk and whether or not the > 1 GB option is set in Auto-SCSI. With the switch not set, the geometry will be 64 heads and 32 sectors/track along with the appropriate number of cylinders; if the > 1 GB option is set, then drives between 1GB and 2GB use 128 heads and 32 sectors/track, and larger drives use 255 heads and 63 sectors/track.
