I'm looking into buying an Adaptec 2940 PCI SCSI-2 HD Controller, and a
Micronics motherboard with a Phoenix Bios. Will I have any problems with
BSD? I've been having a lot of trouble with my current hardware setup and
Linux - kernel panics, inswapper task lockups, etc. I need a stable system.

Are the common network cards such as my Boca supported? I sure hope so.
It has that standard chip on it - I forget what its called.

Thanks,

- Lester
