Why do you need a /pair/, I guess I don't understand your application.
ZyXel supposedly to ship October 11th ... I have an I-ST on backorder thru
Ingram.
I have the technical reference for the 2864I, for what it's worth.
The dealer's price on them is $535 ... if you thought they were hot shit
worth the extra money, then we can do a deal for two at closer to $11XX.
The I-U units cost more, of course.

PacBell only runs B channels at 56Kb/s at the moment, until they upgrade,
scheduled (statewide) for 1/1/96.

Sounds like the focus should be on 'hyper' serial cards, then.
Any suggestions?
