A few people tried porting geomview to FreeBSD, but you need Motif
to build it (limiting the number of people who will attempt the port)
and the stumbling block is its use of incompatible members in the
struct FILE data type. I have had it running on a Sparc displaying
both to its console and to my FreeBSD box... it looks nice, but I
wouldn't use it on anything other than an SGI. :)
