I do have a couple of questions though. I have the Buslogic PCI adapter (946C) in my machine and while the adapter bios claims that synchronous mode is enabled for all the devices, at bootup this is what I get: bt0: Bt946C/ 0-PCI/EISA/VLB(32bit) bus bt0: reading board settings, busmastering, int=11 bt0: version 4.25J, async only, parity, 32 mbxs, 32 ccbs bt0: targ 0 async ^^^^^^^^^^ bt0: targ 6 async Can someone please explain what's going on ? The second question I have is about printing. I have a Panasonic 4400 printer and while I am able to print postscript files (via gs) I can't print simple text files. It seems that I need to translate Linefeeds to CR-LF. Can anyone help me with the printcap entry for that ? Saad
