As in any democratic process, the process is very democratic to the winners, and is very undemocratic to the losers. You took a stand contrary to the popular vote and you lost. Sorry. Obviously, you're very used to getting your way - it didn't work out that way this time, but you are very welcome to try and change things to be the way you want them. But don't bellyache that the process is undemocratic because you lost.
