N = Narrow = 8bits data path
W = Wide = 16 or 32bits data path.

The BT-445 does not support Wide drivers. I don't know of any pure ISA card
which can support Wide HD. The VLB 28xx  from Adaptec can. The Wide version
for Buslogic is the BT757. Have a look at <URL:http://www.buslogic.com/>.
