Install went smooth, but I'm having a bit of difficulty getting my pointing device configured for XF86. I'm using a Kensington Expert Mouse trackball, connected to com1. During the X configuration process, the program indicates that it will save the device configuration to /dev/mouse (default). However, this file does not exist (or does not get created), and startx fails. I tried finding another appropriate /dev device (com1, sio1, etc,), but they are not listed either. Since I haven't received my books yet, I could use a little advice on how to proceed. Thanx much ... Steve
