Since i don't see it posted here, and some might appreciate the reply I got, if you include a "-c" during the boot (with fbsdboot before the -D kernel), the boot sequence will let you configure the devices. I've gotten that far, and configure my device properly (matcd...only needs the "matcd port 0x230", but tried pretty much everything) but it still doesn't work. Is it possible that this kernel doesn't support the new version. I know I had a problem with this with Linux and I had to compile a newer kernel. -- My opinions are my own. Don't bother my boss.
