The first time I look at any NFS-mounted directories with ls -l, I get a recursive listing not unlike ls -lR. Subsequent ls -l commands work as expected. On a similar note, 'find' will not drop into subdirectories under this mountpoint.... Can anyone say if there are changes to the NFS buffering code in the forthcomming 2.1 (to do with caching & NQNFS) that may fix these sort of problems. If anyone is interested in more info, I'll post it. Thanks. -- Brian <brian@awfulhak.demon.co.uk> Don't _EVER_ lose your sense of humour....
